GROUP ACCOUNTANT (100%, m/f/d, hybrid)

In this pivotal role, you will harness your expertise to oversee advanced accounting operations and control functions, ensuring our group entities are on a steady path to success.
As a Group Accountant
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for elevating our financial operations and consolidating our group’s performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Standardize LeaseTeq booking model: Define and harmonize the LeaseTeq booking models across all operating jurisdictions (CH, DE, AT) to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage technical implementation: Lead the deployment of the standardized booking models within Odoo, the company's accounting platform.
- Odoo power user & trainer: Serve as the Odoo platform expert, guiding and training colleagues on its use and capabilities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP, as well as comprehensive management reporting.
- Establish operational SLAs: Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical operational finance processes, including collections management, cash control, and bank reconciliations, across the group.
- Optimize financial operations: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within key Financial Operations (FinOps) processes by defining, measuring, and optimizing workflows.
- Experience: You bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles in financial consolidation and/or controlling.
- Project management: Strong ability to lead and execute projects, particularly in standardizing accounting and operational finance processes across jurisdictions.
- Accounting process implementation: Practical experience in designing and implementing booking models, along with setting up robust control and reconciliation processes.
- Adaptable in matrix structures: Comfortable working within a matrix organization, navigating complexity without direct personal supervisory responsibilities.
- Bilingual proficiency: Fluent in both German (team language) and English (company language), ensuring effective communication across different teams.
- Qualification: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Mindset: You are highly motivated, proactive, and capable of independently driving and managing change initiatives.
- Odoo ERP expertise is beneficial: Experience working with Odoo, including system setup, is highly desirable.
- Industry experience is beneficial: Familiarity with the auto leasing or finance sector, providing relevant insights into specialized accounting needs
